Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Ensure compliant storage and handling of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, with strict adherence to food safety, allergen control, and traceability standards.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order accuracy, productivity, on-time delivery, and safety metrics.
- Lead inventory optimization efforts to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence while supporting production and customer demand.
- Collaborate with Planning and Procurement teams to ensure accurate forecasting, material availability, and efficient inventory turnover.
- Oversee cycle count programs and physical inventories to maintain system integrity and audit readiness.
- Manage warehouse budgets, capital expenditures, labor planning, and resource allocation.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
- Prior experience in food, beverage, or aseptic manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
- Proven success managing complex, high-volume operations.
- Experience operating within regulated environments (FDA, USDA, SQF, GFSI, or similar) highly preferred.

- Develop and maintain risk mitigation and business continuity plans to safeguard supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and corporate governance standards.
Logistics & Transportation:
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide logistics strategies supporting both domestic and international distribution.
- Lead carrier and 3PL management, including selection, contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Align transportation strategies with production schedules, customer requirements, and food safety standards.
- Provide clear visibility into shipment status, delivery performance, and issue resolution.
- Design resilient logistics networks that accommodate seasonality, peak demand, and business growth.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high service levels and customer satisfaction.
Equipment, Systems & Operational Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control practices, and ERP platforms.
- Strong understanding of aseptic processing requirements, food safety standards, sanitation protocols, traceability, and lot control.
- Expertise in logistics strategy, transportation management, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
- Advanced analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices in warehouse and transportation safety.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with international logistics operations is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively lead change initiatives.
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
