Purpose of the Position
As a Supply Chain Planner at Kistler Instruments, you will be responsible for the data governance to include creation and maintenance within the SAP ERP system. You will work with cross-functional teams to facilitate master data requests, ensuring they are actioned accurately and quickly. You will assist in identifying areas of improvement to enhance data quality, accuracy, controls, and execution time.
Planning to include the preparation and sequencing of production orders within the Kistler site for assigned products. Develop master schedule and ensure adequate supply of inventory to satisfy customer expectations and needs. Act as back up for within production planner.
Main Tasks
Work preparation/Master Data Governance (60-75%)
Production planning (25-40%)
Requirements Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with a 3rd party integrated ERP system generating and maintaining master data. SAP preferred but not requiredBachelor’s degree in business and/or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience is required. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.Reliability, willingness to be adaptable to changing business and prioritiesAbility to use independent judgment and discretion to perform tasks and assignments. Must possess strong problem identification and problem-solving skills, confident in decision making ability.Solid, in-depth working knowledge and experience in master scheduling, resource utilization, level loading, project management, obsolescence, and forecasting.Strong communication and organization with ability to explain complex topics and influence team members.Detail and process oriented, highly motivated, and able to take initiative without immediate supervision or direction.Physical requirements: ability to sit at desk 90% of the workday; ability to use a computer 70% of the workday.APICS or CPIM certifications a plus.
