About This Position
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman with a strong background in cleanroom construction to lead field operations, coordinate multidisciplinary crews, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish) and able to communicate effectively across diverse teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Coordination
- Oversee and coordinate the installation of materials in an Industrial Construction setting. This includes coordination within our team (CM and PM) and external trades and contractors.
- Plan, schedule, and sequence work to maintain project timelines and minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with cleanroom construction standards, including contamination control, material handling protocols, and environmental requirements.
Quality & Compliance
- Monitor installation methods, workmanship, and materials to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and collaborate with QA/QC teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Enforce cleanroom protocols such as gowning procedures, controlled access, and cleanliness standards.
- Recognize defective material and installation practices and have the ability/knowledge on how to make the corrective action.
Safety Management
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and site-specific safety plans.
- Lead daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and hazard assessments.
- Identify and mitigate risks before they impact personnel or project progress.
- Provide mentorship to labor teams to promote learning and understanding. Your priority is to grow our team safely.
Communication & Documentation
- Oversee and coordinate the installation of materials in an Industrial Construction setting. This includes coordination within our team (CM and PM) and external trades and contractors.
- Provide bilingual communication to ensure clarity in instructions, safety requirements, and technical details.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, progress updates, and material tracking.
Team Development
- Mentor and train crew members to improve skill levels, productivity, and adherence to cleanroom standards.
- Foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications
- 7+ years foreman experience required, leading a group of 5-20 employees.
- Have a working knowledge of a Journeyman Carpenter.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Strong understanding of cleanroom classifications, contamination control, and specialized construction practices.
- Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Procore, BlueBeam, Outlook, ISN required.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
