Superintendent ( General Contracting Experience)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent with strong General Contracting experience and a proven background in multi-family construction. This role is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is an effective leader who excels at coordinating trades, maintaining jobsite efficiency, and proactively resolving issues.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily on-site operations for multi-family construction projects, ensuring full compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries to maintain workflow and schedule integrity.
• Lead and enforce all jobsite safety protocols, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Monitor construction progress, maintain detailed daily reports, and communicate updates to the Project Manager and leadership team.
• Identify potential field issues, conflicts, and schedule impacts; proactively develop solutions to keep the project on track.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout all phases of construction to ensure workmanship meets company and client standards.
• Assist in developing and updating project schedules, look-ahead plans, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners during site visits, inspections, and progress meetings.
• Review and approve subcontractor work, ensuring adherence to scopes, plans, and timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite that reflects company standards.
