The Opportunity

You will serve as a pivotal field leader, balancing hands-on plumbing expertise with the strategic oversight of residential and commercial new-construction sites. This role is designed for a growth-minded professional ready to manage complex slab layouts and rough-in installations while being groomed for senior management. How You Will Make an Impact
  • Execute precise slab drain layouts and high-standard rough-in installations to ensure 100% inspection readiness.
  • Supervise and coach a dedicated crew of journeymen and apprentices to foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • Interpret complex engineered drawings and blueprints to maintain absolute accuracy in pipe placement and slope.
  • Coordinate directly with general contractors and inspectors to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet all codes.
  • Document daily field logs and productivity reports to provide transparent progress updates to the Operations Manager.
  • Monitor job site safety and quality control protocols to identify and resolve potential deficiencies in real-time.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 35 years of hands-on plumbing experience specifically within residential and commercial new construction.
  • Proven expertise in executing rough-in procedures and verifying slab drain layouts.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and work from detailed construction plans and blueprints.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current plumbing codes and standard inspection requirements.
  • Strong communication skills necessary for managing crew dynamics and builder relationships.
  • Reliable transportation and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized job site.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Currently holding or actively pursuing a Journeyman Plumber license.
  • Prior experience in a lead technician or informal supervisory role.
  • Possession of OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certifications.
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field management software.
  • Experience in structured mentorship or training of plumbing apprentices.
