Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Services Operation Director. The Services Operations Director will be the key leader in the delivery of services for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. In this role, you will implement, plan, direct and coordinate the daily operations of services. You will also work in conjunction with the program leadership teams for organization goals and development.

Available Position:

  • Full-time; Salary; 40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm
  • Wage: From $70,000 annually
  • Hiring Bonus: $1,000 (paid in one installment upon completion of 6-months continued employment)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operations to evaluate performance of subordinates in meeting objectives, and to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change
  • Supervise, evaluate, and coordinate activities of subordinates
  • Interview, hire, supervise and terminate subordinate employees
  • Implement policies, objectives, and activities of the organization
  • Attend Individual Support Plan (ISP) and/or Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings as needed
  • Attend Quality Improvement Committee meetings as a member of the committee
  • Submit annual financial plans/budgets for all respective departments
  • Monitor intake and discharge activities
  • Explain/market services to parents, guardians, case managers and other interested parties
  • Solve operational problems
  • Innovate new ways to provide services and access new funding streams
  • Hold regular employees meetings and produce minutes
  • Participate in accreditation activities with CARF, or similar entities
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Participate in state certification reviews, submit plans of correction and monitor/report on implementation
  • Maintain compliance with licensing standards
  • Regular and punctual attendance during scheduled hours is essential
  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 19 years of age
    • High school diploma or equivalent diploma
    • Four years’ experience performing similar functions and an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
    • Satisfactory driving record (no more than three moving violations in the most recent 36-month period)
    • Valid driver’s license appropriate for vehicle type being required to operate and maintain
  • Access to reliable transportation for job performance as may be occasionally required
    • No convictions for abuse, molestation, theft, burglary, robbery, assault, rape and other crimes against another person or property judged to be job-related
    • No founded reports of abuse of a dependent person
  • Not actively using illegal substances
