1. Position Summary

Under general direction, the ISSPA Customer Support Contractor provides administrative and customer support services that directly enable DoD Enterprise infrastructure, IT goals, and project execution. The role interprets and composes complex correspondence and presentations (including charts/diagrams), gathers information from multiple sources, resolves administrative issues, and coordinates multiple concurrent events and work efforts of moderate complexity while applying standard policies, procedures, and effective networking skills.

2. Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and compose complex correspondence, reports, and presentations that support DoD Enterprise infrastructure, IT goals, and projects.
  • Develop and format briefings and presentations, including creation and integration of charts, diagrams, and other supporting graphics (as required by the effort).
  • Apply effective networking and customer service skills to coordinate with stakeholders, capture requirements, and carry out assigned responsibilities.
  • Gather and validate pertinent information from a variety of sources to perform duties and to support the overall mission effort.
  • Resolve administrative issues and problems as they arise; recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure timely completion of multiple, simultaneous, independent events and projects of moderate complexity.
  • Coordinate multiple work projects and other responsibilities, including training coordination and status reporting, as required.
  • Perform special assignments as directed, which may be specific to the department or manager.
  • Interpret and apply standard policies and procedures to respond to complex inquiries and to resolve issues.
3. Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience with word processing, spreadsheet usage, data entry operations, and typical office procedures.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard office automation tools.
  • Ability to interpret and apply standard policies and procedures to respond to complex inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines across multiple concurrent tasks.
4. Desired Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft executive-ready correspondence and reports.
  • Advanced presentation and document formatting skills (e.g., building templates, integrating charts/diagrams, and maintaining version control).
  • Experience supporting IT operations, enterprise infrastructure efforts, or large-scale IT programs.
  • Ability to analyze administrative processes and propose practical improvements.
  • Professional discretion when handling sensitive or mission-related information.
5. Additional Notes

Duties may vary based on mission needs and may include special assignments for a specific department or manager. The contractor is expected to maintain professional communication standards and deliver accurate, timely products that support the overall effort.
