Job Description

Description:

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Chief Revenue Cycle Officer to join our executive leadership team and take full ownership of a complex, multi-specialty revenue cycle. This role is designed for a seasoned, hands-on leader who wants longevity, influence, and the ability to see the real-world results of the changes they inspire.

This is not a back-seat role—and not a position for someone looking to slow down or move on quickly to “the next thing.” We are looking for a leader who values stability, accountability, and growth, and who wants to build something lasting within an organization that provides both autonomy and support.

The CRCO will oversee revenue cycle operations across professional services, imaging, physical therapy, and ambulatory surgery centers, partnering closely with a strong and engaged management team to shape strategy, improve performance, and ensure compliant, sustainable growth.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate is a strategic and operational leader who:

  • Takes full ownership of outcomes and is motivated by delivering meaningful, measurable results.
  • Thrives in an environment where they are empowered to make decisions and drive change
  • Finds satisfaction in building strong teams, structure, and process
  • Uses analytics and data to identify unhealthy trends early and take decisive action
  • Cares deeply about compliance, integrity, and accountability, and is comfortable holding others to high standards
  • Is energized by collaboration and values working alongside a strong management team that welcomes input and shared planning
  • Is passionate about their work, inspires others, and leads with humility

This role is best suited for someone who wants to grow within the position, expand its impact, and help lead an organization through its next phase of growth.

Position Summary

The Chief Revenue Cycle Officer is an executive leader responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of the organization’s end-to-end revenue cycle. This role oversees all functions related to coding, billing, collections, payer performance, credentialing, authorizations, and revenue integrity to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reimbursement.

The CRCO partners closely with Finance, Clinical and ASC Operations, Compliance, IT, and Payer Strategy leaders to optimize cash flow, reduce revenue leakage, improve the patient financial experience, and support long-term organizational growth.
