About This Position
Directs the administration and coordination of all activities of the hospital in accordance with the policies determined by the Board of Managers and the President/Chief Executive Officer of University Health. Responsible to the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer for the administration of approved policies relevant to hospital operations. The Community Hospital CEO will serve as a key company advocate for all strategy related to University Health’s community hospitals, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless integration with University Health practice and procedures. Works effectively with Executive Leadership and physician partners to foster better alignment, strategic planning and business development. Promotes University Health’s customer relations policy and acts in the capacity of an Officer of University Health.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in Health Care Administration or equivalency is required. Minimum ten to fifteen years of progressive experience in healthcare management, culminating in successfully leading a complex entity in a culturally diverse, competitive community healthcare environment.
