Bilingual Billing Analyst at Mosaic Diagnostics LLC – OVERLAND PARK, Kansas

Summary of position:Primary duty involves the data entry and billing of test requisitions. Maintains confidentiality of billing information while consistently providing excellent customer service to external clients and extending assistance internally to teammates/other departments when needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Entering and bills test requisitions for Physician Billing, self-pay, or insurance billing accounts.
• Answers incoming phone calls directed towards billing department from clients and co-workers.
• Places outbound calls to patients and doctors regarding billing issues, clarifying test/payment information, and following up on inquiries which have required additional research to resolve.
• Performs work with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, working in other parts of the department, if necessary.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Fluency in English and Spanish required
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Superior attention to detail
• Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Basic skills for operation of a computer workstation (including word processing, spreadsheet, and database operations).

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent.
