Massage Therapist - PRN at Northern Illinois Hospice – Sycamore, Illinois

Northern Illinois Hospice is seeking a passionate and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our exceptional team on a PRN basis. Expected Hours of Work: PRN, as needed basis

Massage Therapist’s Responsibilities: (Included, but not limited to)

• Assess the patients’ medical history to determine what type of massage would be the most beneficial.
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the local, state, and federal laws impacting upon the practice of massage therapy.
• Maintains current knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid benefits, private insurance, supportive care, continuous care and in-patient requirements.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities to ensure highest levels of service.
• Reports to work and required meetings on time and on a consistent, regular and reliable basis.

Requirements of the Massage Therapist:

• Completion of an approved massage therapy program.
• Current Massage Therapy license issued by the Illinois Massage Licensing Board required.
• Valid Driver’s License and valid auto insurance coverage and have access to a reliable automobile.

Salary Description

The expected base wage range for this role is $24.00 - $32.00 per hour. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits.
