Under general supervision, while conforming to established policies and procedures, is responsible for providing a high quality of customer service in such activities as processing deposit and loan transactions, cashing checks, selling money orders, cross-selling bank services and maintaining account records. Balances each day’s transactions and verifies cash totals. Serves as a back up to the Head Teller and assists other tellers with balancing, resolving problems and other situations as required.

Education, Skills and Experience Required:
• A high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of teller-related courses.
• One to two years of job-related experience, including formal teller and new accounts training.
• A high level of interpersonal skills necessary to represent the bank in a positive and professional manner.
• The ability to operate an on-line teller terminal and other standard office equipment.
