Join a dedicated team at Tresco, Inc. as a Grounds Maintenance Worker and help keep New Mexico's rest areas looking pristine and welcoming! You'll work outdoors, using your skills to maintain landscaping, irrigation systems, and perform light maintenance and repair duties—all while enjoying consistent weekday hours.

• Maintain landscaped areas, mow lawns, trim edges, and remove weeds

• Repair and service sprinkler systems, valves, timers, and irrigation lines

• Operate tractors, hand mowers, and power tools safely and effectively

• Perform light construction tasks like fencing and digging

• Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas and report hazards

• Support rest area cleanliness and assist with minor facility repairs

• Ensure all work meets contract standards and safety protocols

• Interact courteously with the public when needed

• Work in all weather conditions and respond to seasonal needs like snow removal

• 📘 Education: High School Diploma or GED

• 🛠️ Experience: At least 3 years in groundskeeping, irrigation, and equipment operation

• 🚗 License: Valid Driver’s License (Driving required)

• 🔒 Background Checks: Must pass general background check, MVR (driving record), and NM DOH fingerprinting

• Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions

• Comfortable using landscaping tools and light machinery

• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of safety procedures and use of PPE

• Ability to work independently or with a small team

• Basic communication skills in English (Bilingual is a plus!)

• Reliable full-time weekday hours (No nights or weekends!)
