SALARY: $38,533– $52,308

SCHEDULE:Full-Time:Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Part-Time:Up to 27 hours per week, Monday–Friday

POSITIONOVERVIEW:

TRADE Transportation is Mercer County's paratransitservice dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and compassionate non-emergencytransportation for older adults and individuals with disabilities. As a Driver,you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain access tohealthcare, community services, and daily essentials.

We welcome both full-time and part-time candidates—ourneed is immediate, and we are flexible in filling these important positions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate County vehicles to transport elderlyand disabled passengers
• Assist passengers boarding and exiting vehicles,including operation of wheelchair lifts
• Escort passengers to and from their homes ordestinations when needed
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, minorservicing, and cleaning
• Maintain accurate trip records and provide basicreporting
• Respond to emergencies or passenger needs calmly andprofessionally

REQUIREMENTS:

• A valid New Jersey driver's license
• For our current fleet and immediate need a CDL withpassenger endorsement is needed

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of safe transportation practices for elderlyand disabled individuals
• Ability to operate vehicles safely and with care
• Familiarity with local geography and trip routing
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience when workingwith vulnerable populations
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow safetyprotocols
