Responsibilities of the position
- Serve as an expert clinician in assessing, planning, evaluating, and adjusting patient care across the lifespan.
- Lead initiatives that promote continuous quality improvement and positive patient outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient and community education programs.
- Identify and improve clinical processes to optimize care delivery and resource utilization.
- Foster effective communication across departments to support seamless care coordination.
- Follow all hospital policies, including those outlined in the Exposure Control Manual.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing duties involving potential exposure risks.
Requirements
- Current New York State license and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
- Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner training program recognized by the NYS Education Department
- Minimum of 5 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
- Strong ability to work with diverse populations across ages, backgrounds, and life circumstances

Starting Salary: $145,496 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
