WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Legal Clerk, you will act as an integral part of the Delinquent Department’s team. To be successful in the role, you must be a detail-oriented, organized professional with strong research and communication skills who can manage legal processes, handle sensitive account issues, and stay accurate under pressure.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage inquiries related to delinquent and legal accounts via phone, email, and fax
- Research, update, and maintain accounts involving bankruptcy, liens, and legal actions
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government offices
- Monitor legal processes (e.g., sheriff sales, complaints) and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Respond to account issues, complaints, and perform routine account maintenance
- Travel to and attend magistrate hearings on behalf of the company
DETAILS + WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Location: On-site in our Bangor, PA office
- Initial training: ~4-6 months fully in office
- Flexibility: After initial training, this role transitions to a hybrid schedule, with at least 2–3 days in the office each week and up to 5 days, depending on work load.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
- 1 - 2 years of related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new systems
- Situation analysis and problem-solving skills
