This is an onsite position and does not support remote work, Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 3:00PM 40 hours per week

SUMMARY: Responsible for material and parts purchases, vendor relations, inventory control, cost of goods/cost control, purchase order processing, vendor return processing, and internal customer service support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Place orders with vendors based on requests from plumbers or project managers.
• Place orders for stock based on warehouse stock levels.
• Reconcile vendor order confirmations with purchase order entries.
• Maintain and reinforce vendor relations.
• Participate in monthly inventory cycle count process.
• Improve/update product knowledge.
• Arrange for emergency purchases through local vendors when needed
• Coordinate jobsite / vendor deliveries and pick-ups.
• Manage material return-to-vendor and return-to-stock processes.
• Re-stock material in warehouse
• Receive and reconcile deliveries
• Lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly
• Operate a Forklift

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent. Two years related experience and/or training.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively with staff and vendors.
• Ability to quickly identify challenges and provide resolution; must be flexible and adaptable to a fast pace and changing environment.
• Strongly collaborative working style.
• Demonstrated skills in customer service both externally and internally.
• Demonstrated skills in decision making and time management.
• Ability to read and comprehend written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence effectively.
• Computer skills: knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Internet software. Ability to learn new applications quickly.
• Basic math skills: ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, taxes, and sums.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check & drug screen.
• Knowledge of service / residential plumbing is preferred.
• Prior Warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
