Job Description

Janey is hiring a relationship-oriented Strategic Partnerships Manager to help expand referral and partnership relationships for our live virtual parenting education platform serving expecting and new parents across the United States.

This is a remote 1099 contractor role for a motivated sales and development professional who enjoys networking, relationship-building, outreach, and developing long-term partnerships in the maternal and baby industry.

We are seeking a motivated team member who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping organizations provide additional value and support to the families they serve. This is an opportunity to help shape and expand a national partnership program from the ground up. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with independent prospecting and excited about building meaningful relationships with organizations that support families during pregnancy and early parenthood.

Experience in healthcare, maternal wellness, baby products, community partnerships, or B2B relationship development is strongly preferred.

  • Hospitals and health systems

  • OB/GYN and pediatric offices

  • Birth centers and midwifery practices

  • Mom and baby retail stores

  • Parenting groups and community organizations

  • Employers supporting working parents

  • Doulas, lactation consultants, and perinatal professionals

  • Family-focused brands and wellness organizations

Responsibilities

  • Prospect organizations in the parenting, maternal health, wellness, and baby industries.

  • Conduct outreach through email, phone, networking, social media, and relationship-building activities.

  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.

  • Represent Janey professionally and communicate the value of Janey’s accessible education platform and partnership opportunities to prospective organizations.

  • Develop and execute strategies to open new strategic accounts.

  • Maintain an active sales pipeline, support ongoing communication, and expand long-term partnership relationships.

  • Maintain organized records of outreach, partnerships, and active accounts.

  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently advance prospective partnerships through the relationship-building process.

  • Collaborate with leadership, clinical, and marketing teams to identify new market and partnership opportunities and support growth initiatives.

  • Help shape Janey's go-to-market strategy across the maternal, baby, and parenting industries.

  • Use data and relationship insights to optimize partnership performance.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable with cold outreach and independent prospecting.

  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Professional and reliable.

  • Comfortable working in a flexible, commission-based contractor role.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in maternal health, parenting, wellness, or baby-related industries

  • Experience working with hospitals, physician practices, maternal health organizations, baby brands, or family-focused businesses

  • Existing relationships within the parenting, healthcare, or baby industry are a strong plus.
