Working at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success, you will guide technical teams through onboarding, troubleshooting, and optimization.
The role requires strong API knowledge, payments expertise, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer solutions.
You will influence product improvements by bringing customer insights and implementation learnings back to internal teams.

The Senior Integration Engineer - Tokenization will own the technical success of customer implementations by providing expert guidance, troubleshooting support, and strategic recommendations throughout the integration lifecycle. This role requires close collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless adoption of payment technologies while continuously improving onboarding processes.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers, helping them understand platform capabilities, integration best practices, and implementation strategies.
- Lead technical onboarding initiatives, including environment configuration, API guidance, troubleshooting, and deployment support.
- Develop deep expertise in tokenization APIs and share best practices to help customers successfully enable digital payment solutions.
- Support customers through complex integration challenges by diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and recommending scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and onboarding teams to improve customer implementation experiences and platform processes.
- Act as the customer voice by sharing feedback, technical insights, and implementation learnings with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain strong knowledge of payment technologies, platform capabilities, and industry developments to provide accurate technical guidance.
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution by anticipating technical risks while managing detailed implementation tasks.
- Communicate effectively with customer developers, product managers, and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in enterprise technology environments, customer-facing technical roles, and payment integrations. You should be comfortable working with APIs, explaining technical concepts, managing multiple projects, and collaborating across teams.
- 5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in technical roles such as solutions engineering, implementation consulting, technical account management, or similar positions.
- Strong understanding of APIs and the ability to explain API concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Bruno or Postman; familiarity with SQL and Datadog is a plus.
- Knowledge of payment technologies, particularly issuing, tokenization, payment networks, and digital wallet ecosystems.
- Ability to analyze complex customer requirements and translate them into practical technical recommendations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and drive cross-functional solutions.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Background in B2B technology environments with an understanding of business growth drivers and customer needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Competitive base salary depending on location tier:
- National: $112,700 - $140,900 USD
- Premium: $122,000 - $152,500 USD
