This role supports the full Quote-to-Close lifecycle by partnering closely with Sales teams to structure, review, and execute complex software transactions.
You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping optimize commercial agreements while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and business value.
The position combines financial analysis, contract expertise, and operational excellence to drive successful deal execution.
Working across Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and other internal teams, you will help streamline processes and accelerate revenue growth.

As a Senior Deal Desk Specialist, you will manage the operational and strategic activities required to support sales transactions from pricing through contract signature. You will ensure deals are structured effectively, comply with internal policies, and deliver value for both customers and the business.
- Manage, prioritize, and track assigned sales opportunities across current and future quarters to ensure timely execution and effective deal strategy support.
- Partner with Sales teams to review deal structures, pricing proposals, product configurations, and commercial terms.
- Administer approval workflows and ensure sales transactions comply with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer-specific requirements.
- Draft, review, and manage documentation required for software licensing, hosting services, and commercial agreements.
- Provide guidance on revenue recognition, contractual considerations, and transaction-related matters while collaborating with Finance and Legal teams.
- Analyze existing customer agreements and provide insights to support negotiations and business decisions.
- Act as a cross-functional partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Presales, Product, Technology Alliances, and Partner teams to ensure smooth deal execution.
- Support external customer and vendor discussions related to contracts and business matters when required.
- Maintain strong financial stewardship and ensure transactions align with organizational objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects within the Deal Desk function.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in deal operations, contract management, software licensing, and revenue processes, combined with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Contract Management, Deal Desk, or a similar commercial operations environment.
- Strong expertise in software licensing models, including perpetual licenses, subscriptions, hosting services, and SaaS agreements.
- Knowledge of software revenue recognition principles, including ASC606 and IFRS15 standards.
- Experience managing complex commercial transactions and supporting enterprise sales cycles.
- Familiarity with ERP software solutions or enterprise technology portfolios is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business scenarios.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing requests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand business needs from strategic and operational perspectives.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
