PHYSICIAN OB-GYN SCHEDULE
- PRN - 4 hours a week, willing to work some Saturday clinics
PHYSICIAN OB-GYN POSITION SUMMARY
Provides comprehensive healthcare management including treatment to female patients
PHYSICIAN OB-GYN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Obtain medical histories and conduct medical assessments and clinical exams with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology Perform and/or order appropriate diagnostic tests to diagnose disorders and provide treatment. Prescribe appropriate medications. Educate patients about disease, disease prevention, and recommend medications or management. Collaborate with the healthcare team. Provide antenatal and post-partum medical care during pregnancy and childbirth. Good clinical knowledge base and familiarity with evidence-based practices. Follows relevant medical policies and procedures
PHYSICIAN OB-GYN REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited medical school Fully licensed as a doctor of medicine to practice medicine in the state of TennesseeBoard certified obstetrician-gynecologistThe medical license shall have no restrictions and prior action by the medical licensing authority shall be disclosedCurrent Controlled Drug Substance license and DEA license
