This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SeaVision Systems Engineer based in United States.

This role offers an opportunity to support advanced Maritime Domain Awareness capabilities within a mission-focused engineering environment.
You will contribute to the systems engineering, integration, interoperability, and technical assessment of SeaVision and related technologies.
The position combines hands-on technical work with data analysis, systems integration, cybersecurity, and mission support.
You will help evaluate sensor and commercial data feeds and translate operational needs into practical engineering solutions.
Working with Government, contractor, and international stakeholders, you will contribute to exercises, demonstrations, and mission events.
The role provides significant autonomy, with most work performed remotely or from a contractor site and periodic Government-site support.
It is well suited to an experienced systems engineer who can solve complex technical challenges while maintaining strong security, documentation, and communication standards.

Accountabilities
  • Perform systems engineering, product development support, data analysis, and technical assessments for Maritime Domain Awareness capabilities.
  • Evaluate operational and commercial data feeds and recommend improvements to data quality, availability, reliability, and mission value.
  • Develop technical specifications, interface requirements, and interoperability approaches for SeaVision and supporting systems.
  • Design and support web-service architectures and backend interfaces that enable global training, data access, and system connectivity.
  • Support the installation, configuration, testing, and integration of RADAR, SATSAR, AIS, and other sensor or data-integration nodes.
  • Evaluate system interoperability, troubleshoot integration issues, and document technical findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Support cybersecurity testing, vulnerability and risk assessments, technology mapping, and remediation planning.
  • Provide technical support for exercises, demonstrations, and mission events, including status reporting and after-action documentation.
  • Collaborate with Government, contractor, and partner-nation stakeholders to translate mission requirements into effective engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to technical coordination, system documentation, and continuous improvement of MDA capabilities.
  • Support program activities primarily from a contractor site or remotely, with periodic Government-site assignments based on mission requirements.
Requirements
  • Active Top Secret security clearance that can be maintained throughout employment is required.
  • Demonstrated systems engineering experience involving complex technical systems, sensors, data feeds, web services, backend interfaces, or related capabilities.
  • Approximately 10 years of systems engineering experience with Geospatial Intelligence Systems is preferred.
  • Approximately 2 years of engineering systems experience with SeaVision is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of system interoperability, cybersecurity testing, vulnerability assessment, technical risk management, and system integration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess technical data, identify issues, and develop practical recommendations.
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Government, contractor, and international teams.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple technical priorities in a mission-driven environment.
  • Directly relevant equivalent education and professional experience may be considered.
  • Willingness and ability to support periodic Government-site assignments and travel according to mission needs.
Benefits
  • Opportunity to contribute to mission-critical Maritime Domain Awareness and defense-related technology programs.
  • Primarily remote or contractor-site work arrangement, representing approximately 90% of anticipated program performance.
  • Periodic Government-site support, representing approximately 10% of anticipated program performance.
  • Exposure to advanced sensor integration, geospatial intelligence, web services, cybersecurity, and distributed data environments.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with Government, contractor, and partner-nation stakeholders.
  • Position pending contract award.
  • Work environment and travel assignments aligned with evolving program and mission requirements.
