Job title: Senior Accountant

Reporting to: Corporate Controller

Direct Reports: None

Job purpose: Journal entries, data collection, month-end close tasks

Location: Sandy Hook, CT

Working Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday

Key tasks and responsibilities:

General Ledger

· Prepare journal entries

· Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

· Running reports

· Review coding for any errors or omissions

Banking

· Bank Reconciliations

· Review day-to-day transactions and enter as needed

Other responsibilities

· Prepare and review consignment statements

· Assist with audit requests

· Ad hoc reporting or requests as needed from Corporate Controller

Contribute to Department/Team/Business unit:

· Accuracy of data entry and coding

· Crosstrain to provide coverage as needed for AR and AP
