Goldsboro Builders Supply is seeking a strategic and business-savvy Director of Business Systems & Epicor BisTrack to lead the optimization and long-term evolution of our business systems infrastructure. This high-impact leadership role serves as the organization's primary expert for Epicor BisTrack and is responsible for aligning technology, data, reporting, and business processes across our growing family of building materials companies. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, sales, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and accounting teams to improve performance and drive business results. The ideal candidate combines strong ERP expertise with business acumen, analytical skills, project leadership experience, and a passion for continuous improvement.

What You'll DoERP & Business Systems Leadership
- Serve as the company's primary subject matter expert for Epicor BisTrack.
- Lead the strategic administration, optimization, enhancement, and support of BisTrack and related business applications.
- Develop and execute a systems roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate existing processes and system capabilities to identify improvement opportunities.
- Oversee ERP upgrades, testing, implementations, and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with department leaders to maximize system utilization and effectiveness.
- Partner with leadership to improve operational efficiency through technology.
- Analyze workflows and implement best practices across the organization.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving:
- Sales
- Purchasing
- Inventory Management
- Logistics
- Accounting
- Identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual processes and improve data accuracy.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance business dashboards and reporting tools.
- Deliver meaningful analytics that support executive decision-making.
- Provide reporting and performance insights related to:
- Sales
- Gross Margin
- Inventory Performance
- Purchasing
- Fleet & Delivery Operations
- Branch Performance
- Transform complex data into actionable business intelligence.
- Lead integrations between BisTrack and other business platforms, including:
- CRM Systems
- eCommerce Platforms
- Fleet Management Solutions
- Business Intelligence Tools
- Vendor Applications
- Manage technology vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Evaluate emerging technologies that support growth and operational excellence.
- Champion ERP adoption and continuous learning throughout the organization.
- Develop training programs, user documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Support branch managers and department leaders in maximizing system effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and guidance on system best practices.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity and system accuracy.
- Establish governance processes and business system controls.
- Partner with internal and outsourced IT resources to maintain secure environments and support cybersecurity initiatives.
- Lead technology and business process improvement projects from planning through implementation.
- Manage project timelines, priorities, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate internal teams, software vendors, and external partners to ensure successful outcomes.
- 5+ years of ERP systems administration, implementation, or business systems management experience.
- 3+ years of leadership, project leadership, or management experience.
- Proven experience leading business process improvement initiatives.
- Strong business analysis, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working across multiple functional departments.
- Significant Epicor BisTrack experience strongly preferred.

- Specialty Building Products
- Experience with business intelligence platforms, dashboards, and data analytics tools.
- Knowledge of inventory, purchasing, accounting, logistics, fleet management, and operational workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience will be considered.
