Location: Pofadder, Northern Cape,, South Africa
¡Join Our Team!We are currently recruiting for a/an Control Room Operator to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
  • To work on a 12-hour shift system as per the duty roster
  • To operate the plant in accordance with load despatch requirements and weather forecast
  • Manage equipment and systems following operational standards
  • Keep informed about any issues arising by Power Block Operators, Solar Field Operators, and Cleaning Truck Drivers
  • Advisory of issues to Shift Manager
  • Propose improvements in procedures
  • At shift end, attend meetings to discuss maintenance work progress, scheduling problems, near misses, interference issues to name a few
  • Follow emergency response and evacuation
    Completing daily operation checklists.

Education
  • Grade 12 /N3 with maths and science

Experience & Technical Qualifications
  • Experience in operations in a power plant, oil, andgas, petrochemical, or chemical industry.
