Do you love winter vibes, festive energy, and leading teams in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment? We’re looking for an organized, upbeat, and dependable Seasonal Box Office Team Lead to join our team at our iconic outdoor ice rink in Central Park!
As the Box Office Team Lead, you’ll be the go-to leader for the front-of-house team—guiding daily ticketing operations, supporting your teammates, and delivering top-tier customer service to thousands of guests who come to skate, celebrate, and create lasting memories. You’ll oversee sales, ensure smooth operations, and set the tone for an exceptional guest experience under the New York City skyline.
Requirements:Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Supervise, train, and support box office staff during shifts.
· Lead by example to ensure efficient ticket sales, excellent guest service, and accurate cash handling.
· Resolve guest concerns and escalations with professionalism and positivity
· Assist with break coverage, and shift transitions.
· Ensure proper use of ticketing systems, POS terminals, and any on-site tech.
· Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming box office space.
· Communicate with operations, guest services, and rink management to ensure smooth daily flow.
· Opening and closing procedures and daily reconciliation tasks.
· Support Revenue Manager.
Qualifications:
· 1+ year experience in a customer service or box office supervisory role (ice rink or seasonal venue experience a plus!)
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask during busy shifts.
· Experience with ticketing/POS systems and basic cash handling.
· Comfortable working outdoors in all winter weather conditions.
· Flexible availability—must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the season.
Educational Background Required
