Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of our operations.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and building systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical components.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems.
Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, refrigeration, and mechanical failures efficiently to minimize downtime.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
Assist with installation projects related to construction or equipment upgrades as needed.
Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major maintenance or repair projects to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair and equipment maintenance.
Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and mechanical principles.
Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors effectively.
