Product Owner

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Owner in India.

This role sits at the core of a global product ecosystem focused on building and optimizing large-scale social discovery platforms used by millions of users worldwide. You will be responsible for shaping product direction, defining and validating hypotheses, and driving experimentation that directly impacts user engagement and business growth. Working in a highly data-driven and fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with engineering, design, analytics, and marketing teams to continuously improve product performance. The role requires strong ownership of roadmaps, metrics, and cross-functional execution, with a clear focus on measurable outcomes. You will also play a key role in scaling product culture and operational excellence across distributed international teams. This is a remote-first position within a global organization operating across multiple markets and time zones.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and manage product roadmaps, ensuring clear prioritization of initiatives aligned with business goals and strategic direction.
  • Define product objectives, KPIs, hypotheses, and experimentation frameworks focused on measurable business impact.
  • Design, coordinate, and evaluate A/B tests and product experiments, driving data-informed rollout decisions.
  • Monitor key product metrics, user behavior, and performance trends to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver product improvements and technical solutions.
  • Research and implement new tools, technologies, and optimization approaches to improve product performance and scalability.
  • Align cross-functional teams around priorities, ensuring smooth execution of initiatives and clear communication across stakeholders.
  • Present insights, performance results, and strategic recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve product processes, operational workflows, and team execution quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a strong track record in roadmap planning and strategic product ownership.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience working with KPIs, product metrics, and business performance analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and tools such as Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of product analytics, unit economics, and digital product growth principles.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) sufficient to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, tracking systems, and web analytics tools.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and customer journey optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Russian and English, written and verbal.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to clearly articulate trade-offs and business impact.
  • Highly collaborative, structured, and comfortable working in fast-paced, remote, and cross-cultural environments.
