Position OverviewAs an Entry-Level Event Marketing & Communications Assistant, you'll help plan, coordinate, and execute community events, fundraising campaigns, promotional marketing initiatives, and brand awareness programs. You'll work alongside marketing professionals, nonprofit partners, and community organizations to create engaging experiences that strengthen community connections and support meaningful causes.
This position offers hands-on experience in event marketing, nonprofit outreach, communications, fundraising, customer engagement, public relations, event coordination, and promotional marketing, providing a strong foundation for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with planning and executing promotional marketing campaigns, fundraising events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Support event logistics, including setup, displays, promotional materials, scheduling, registration, and onsite coordination.
- Represent nonprofit organizations and client brands professionally at community events and promotional campaigns.
- Engage with community members, donors, supporters, and event attendees to increase awareness and participation.
- Communicate campaign messaging and educate attendees about nonprofit missions, community programs, and fundraising initiatives.
- Distribute promotional materials and assist with community outreach activities.
- Track campaign performance, event participation, and customer engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, fundraising, and event teams to achieve campaign objectives.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance event experiences, outreach efforts, and community engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of campaign activities, event attendance, and outreach initiatives.
