DETAIL DEPARTMENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

West Direct Oil, a premiere automotive detailing products distributor in Colorado, has an opportunity in our automotive appearance division for an outside salesperson to represent our company and our product line in the business-to-business market. This outside sales position will require the sales representative to drive a company assigned vehicle and cover the Front Range of Colorado. The ideal candidate will reside in the Denver area. • Assist the Area Sales Manager in developing strategies and tactics that ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability in key markets.
• Identify and bid on all appropriate projects within the assigned marketing area. Participate in the development of a bid strategy for each job.
• Develop and maintain relationships within the appearance/detailing community. Leverage these relationships to get West Direct Oil products specified on future projects.
• Establish short and long-term goals and strategies regarding key clients and prospects. Then, develop specific action plans to achieve goals.
• Will be responsible for meeting specific sales volumes and profit margin goals on assigned routes.
• Partner with other departments (Sales, Operations, and Accounting) to ensure every account receives the highest level of customer service.
• Communicate with the sales team to manage and coordinate sales to customers who overlap geographic boundaries and markets.
• Actively participate in industry-related classes and techniques required to develop and maintain the latest trade product technology and applications.
• Manage relationships with key accounts throughout the region.
• Prospect opportunities and companies and market products within core markets.

• Proven track record of prior goal achievement, increasing sales and customer growth.
• Equivalent 5 years automotive detail experience
• Previous Appearance Sales experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required, and comfortable working with and presenting to all levels within an organization.
• Must hold and maintain all required credentials, including a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for a class C vehicle.
• Physical requirements must be able to lift 50lbs. repeatedly. Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, liftgate.
