Komline-FluidQuip is looking for a welder to join the team! This role is responsible for welding and fabrication of large-scale industrial equipment using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes. The Welder will follow specifications, drawings, and quality standards to support production, repair, and custom fabrication.

Role and Responsibilities

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on stainless steel, and other alloys as requiredRead and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, schematics, and work instructionsSet up welding equipment, select proper filler materials, and adjust settings for material type and thicknessPrepare materials for welding including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fixturingInspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and dimensional accuracyOperate hand tools, grinders, torches, and fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, rollers, and press break machinesFollow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop standardsWork collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional departments to meet customer demandsSupport continuous improvement efforts related to welding/fabrication area

Required Qualifications

High school diploma and 3+ years of welding experienceTechnical certification a plusProficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processesAbility to weld in multiple positions working with fabricated assembliesKnowledge of weld symbols and basic metallurgyAbility to use measuring tools accurately (tape measure, calipers, squares)Ability to stand, bend, kneel for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistanceManual dexterity and visual acuity for precision welding work
