Job Description

Columbia Vehicle Group is seeking an experienced leader to oversee second-shift fabrication operations. This role is responsible for leading employees across metal fabrication, welding, paint preparation, and powder coating while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. The supervisor will utilize Odoo ERP to manage workflow, production reporting, and operational performance while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop second-shift fabrication employees.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Monitor production schedules and labor allocation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor KPIs including productivity, quality, scrap, downtime, and attendance.
Utilize Odoo ERP to manage work orders and production reporting.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials teams.
Coach employees through training, performance management, and development.
Support inventory accuracy and workforce planning.

Qualifications
3–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Experience in fabrication, welding, or powder coating preferred.
ERP/MRP experience required; Odoo preferred.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
