Location: Colorado or Texas

Productivity, Inc. | MachinesUsed.com Division

Are you passionate about CNC machine tools and industrial equipment? Do you enjoy evaluating equipment, negotiating deals, and helping manufacturers buy and sell machinery?

This role offers a competitive base salary of $90,000 to $95,000 annually plus uncapped commissions, with an expected total compensation range of $150,000 to $250,000+ per year based on performance.

Join Productivity, Inc.'s MachinesUsed.com Division and help manufacturing customers throughout the Western United States buy, sell, and evaluate CNC machines, fabrication equipment, tooling, and industrial assets.

This position is ideal for someone who understands machine tools, enjoys building customer relationships, and can confidently inspect equipment, determine value, negotiate transactions, and manage projects through completion. You'll work directly with manufacturers, machine shops, and industrial businesses to identify opportunities and provide solutions for surplus and used equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase used CNC machines, fabrication equipment, tooling, and industrial assets throughout assigned territories.
  • Sell and broker used CNC machinery and industrial equipment through MachinesUsed.com's established marketing and sales channels.
  • Conduct on-site equipment inspections, evaluate condition, document specifications, and assess market value.
  • Negotiate equipment purchases, consignments, and sales transactions with customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with machine shops, manufacturers, fabricators, and industrial businesses.
  • Identify opportunities for customers looking to buy, sell, trade, or liquidate surplus equipment.
  • Coordinate rigging, logistics, transportation, and shipping activities associated with equipment transactions.
  • Manage projects from initial evaluation through final delivery and transaction completion.
  • Partner with Productivity's machine tool sales team to identify trade-in and surplus equipment opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM, inventory management, marketing, and sales software to manage pipelines and customer activity.
  • Support equipment auctions and liquidation projects as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience selling, purchasing, evaluating, or managing CNC machine tools, industrial machinery, or capital equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machines, fabrication equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to evaluate equipment condition, determine market value, negotiate pricing, and close transactions.
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing customers and industrial businesses.
  • Understanding of rigging, equipment transportation, logistics, or machinery relocation processes.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and consultative sales skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory with significant autonomy.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned region and work in both field and office environments.
  • Auction or liquidation experience is a plus, but not required.

Why Join Productivity?

  • At Productivity, Inc., we pride ourselves on delivering unparalleled customer service with integrity and expertise. Through MachinesUsed.com, we've helped manufacturers buy, sell, consign, and market used machine tools and industrial equipment for more than 20 years.
  • This position offers substantial long-term growth opportunities. Successful performance may lead to expanded geographic responsibility, additional customer accounts, and increased earning potential. If you have the technical knowledge to evaluate machinery, the business acumen to negotiate transactions, and the drive to build lasting customer relationships, we'd like to hear from you.
