Manager in Training – Car Rental Operations in SOUTH OGDEN, Utah at Budget Car Rental

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Utah is seeking an ambitious Manager in Training to join our Layton team. This is an opportunity for someone with sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or operations experience who wants to develop into a management role.

You'll receive hands-on training in rental car operations, sales, fleet coordination, employee development, and branch management while working alongside experienced leaders. Successful candidates will have opportunities to advance into Assistant Manager and Branch Manager positions.

• Learn and assist with daily branch operations and business performance.
• Support customer service, rental sales, and revenue goals.
• Coordinate vehicle availability, fleet inventory, and daily vehicle operations.
• Help train, support, and develop team members.
• Gain experience with employee scheduling, staffing, and team leadership.
• Assist with customer concerns and operational problem-solving.
• Learn company systems, procedures, and management practices.

• 2+ years of experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or business operations preferred.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Interest in developing leadership and business management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
