Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities:

· Unpacks and verifies goods received against purchase orders and/or invoices.

· Communicates damaged or missing items to Warehouse Manager for return or
replacement by Vendor.

· Maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory or damaged items.

· Responsible for accurately preparing and shipping all products to customers and/or other designated parties.

· Accurately picks product to be shipped from inventory.

· Packs product as necessary to ensure it arrives damage free.

· Receives and processes return authorizations.

· Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assist in staging orders for delivery.

· Ensure product is stored safely and in the proper place.

· Responsible for opening and closing facilities.

· Assists Warehouse Manager in bi-annual physical inventory preparation.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred

- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems

Minimum one year shipping/receiving experience
