CNC LATHE in Eastlake, Ohio at Presrite Corporation

JOB SUMMARY:

The CNC Lathe Operator “A” is responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently setting up, operating, and programming department equipment, and working from complex prints and models to obtain accurate specifications in dimensions and tolerances.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive)

• Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently with minimal supervision

• Set up,operate, program, and troubleshoot CNC Lathes

• Work from blueprints or sketches

• Knowledge of tool steels

• Making precise measurements using all shop measuring equipment (digital and analog)

• Ability to make offsets and adjustments to CNC Lathes

• Must be able to operate all shop equipment

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC Lathe setup, programming, and operation experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Working knowledge of GibbsCAM and conversational programming software

• Ability to operate Forklift

• Ability to operate Overhead Crane

• Knowledge of cutting tools for feeds and speeds

• Capable of working from complex prints and models
