Essential Functions
- Lead the implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes throughout the production lifecycle to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment.
- Leads program team members to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view.
- Identifies Quality Assurance activities to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with the program team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities.
- Validates effective internal controls system is in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
- Performs audits on program delivery and ensures the use of Quality data analytics to identify risks and nonconformances and ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.
Required Qualifications
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other Engineering-related degree.
Six Sigma Green Belt. Project Management Professional. Strong Mechanical Background. - Knowledge, skills & abilities: Program Quality. Issue Resolution. KPI Management. Performance Analysis. Quality Audit. Quality Improvement. Regulatory Compliance. ISO9001:2015 Lead auditor or AS9100D Lead Auditor.
- Relevant Program Quality Engineering experience within Manufacturing, Military, Aerospace/Aviation, Medical industry.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25-50% of time, including possible international travel.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
