Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Senior Vice President, Product Management will serve in a key leadership role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will have responsibility for leadership and strategic direction in the development, execution, enhancement, and management of the company's product portfolio.

With responsibility for the expanding Product function, the SVP, Product Management must be passionate about the incubation, design, development, and launch of new SaaS products in the data and technology space. This person must bring a strong background in leading best-in-class teams that manage and own a product portfolio. This person will work to identify, design, and drive initiatives that grow Inovalon's business throughout the healthcare value chain and establish a positive impact on the organization's operating efficiency and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, develops and oversees enterprise-wide programs and operations for large, complex function(s) or business unit.
Plays a leading role in high-level organizational decisions and daily operations.
Sets and is accountable for financial plans and goals for assigned business unit or function.
Focuses on translating corporate objectives into strategic business plans for the business segment/function/ area based on knowledge of market and competitive trends.

Decisions have significant impact on business or operating unit, budget, department, employees and/or client(s).
Nature of work and decisions require analysis and evaluation of tangible and intangible factors.
Others consult with this leader when making high-level decisions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and local, regional and federal regulations.
Strategic decisions have medium to long-term impact on operations.

Consistently works with complex ideas or situations across business units and/or departments.
Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, and ability to clearly express point of view to others.
Ability to evaluate performance metrics and calculate risks.

Maintains a broad level of business contact and collaboration and is responsible for planning and budgetary considerations.
Actively engage in business development opportunities including presenting Inovalons business capabilities to clients, prospective clients, partners, and prospective partners.
Build and leverage cross-functional collaborative relationships to achieve shared company goals.

Scope of Leadership & Talent Management
Directs execution in support of enterprise strategy, leveraging assets (people, technology, intellectual property, etc.).
Responsible for the coaching and professional development of leaders, succession planning and ensuring high performance levels within area.
Participates in the preparation of annual budgets and drives business dealings and internal/external relationships, as required.
Leads organization across functional boundaries at an enterprise and/or business unit level.

Job Requirements:
Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience and a track record in product management and 12+ years of management experience.
Superior organizational/leadership skills; demonstrated ability to execute.
Requires critical thinking, advanced understanding of business functions, and detailed knowledge of data, analysis and performance metrics.
Requires in-depth knowledge of the industry, business strategies, and company objectives.

Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
Masters degree preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time).
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force.
Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.
Subject to inside environmental conditions.
Travel for this position is expected to be less than 40%.

Inovalon Offers a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$315,598—$360,000 USD
