You will partner directly with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to turn complex, ambiguous questions into actionable recommendations.
The role combines advanced technical data science with strategic influence, requiring both analytical rigor and strong business judgment.
You will work with large-scale, high-dimensional datasets to develop sophisticated solutions to complex problems.

It is an opportunity to influence long-term direction while contributing to a mission-driven, globally distributed technology environment

Accountabilities:
  • Strategic Decision Support: Shape high-priority business decisions by translating complex and ambiguous questions into rigorous, data-driven insights and clear recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Mentorship: Mentor data scientists, advise managers on technical direction, and help elevate the quality, consistency, and impact of analytical work across the organization.
  • Problem Solving: Bring curiosity, sound judgment, and structured thinking to complex business problems while identifying the most effective analytical approaches and emerging technologies for each situation.
Requirements:
  • Education & Experience: Demonstrated senior-level experience in data science, analytics, or a closely related field, with a proven record of influencing important business decisions through data.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in Python or R, SQL, statistics, and modern data science tools, with a strong command of analytical methodologies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify meaningful business questions, develop rigorous analyses, and translate findings into practical, decision-ready recommendations.
  • Executive Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts clearly to both technical audiences and senior executives.
  • Influence Without Authority: Proven ability to build credibility, establish trust, resolve differing perspectives, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams without relying on formal reporting relationships.
  • Analytical Judgment: Strong understanding of when and how to apply different analytical methods, combined with curiosity about emerging technologies and the judgment to distinguish valuable innovation from unnecessary complexity.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Ability to serve as a technical leader and mentor for other data scientists while contributing to the broader growth and development of the Data Science community.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions, business domains, and problem spaces.
Benefits:
  • Performance: Generous performance-based bonus opportunities for eligible employees.
  • Healthcare: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement: Generous retirement contributions with immediate vesting.
  • Wellness: Quarterly company-wide wellness days and a quarterly well-being stipend.
  • Time Off: Country-specific holidays plus a dedicated day off for your birthday.
  • Parental Support: Considerable paid parental leave.
  • Professional Development: Annual budget to support ongoing learning and professional growth.
  • Remote Work: Remote-friendly work environment with flexibility designed to support distributed teams.
  • Home Office: One-time home office stipend to help create an effective remote workspace.
  • Mission & Impact: Opportunity to use data and technology to contribute to a more open, accessible, and people-centered internet.
