- Managing ticket sales, distribution, and customer service for SFCC theatre productions
- Using the ticketing software Eventbrite to process transactions, managing "will call," answering inquiries, and resolving customer issues
- Processing in-person, phone, email, and online ticket orders using computerized systems
- Greeting patrons, answering questions, seating, and venue accessibility
- Assisting with seating issues and collaborating with Front of House staff during productions
This position is necessary to manage the complex, high-pressure, and often immediate demands of ticket sales, customer service, and at times financial reconciliation.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in computer systems
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with a positive demeanor
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in fast-paced environments
This position is a part of the Federal Work-Study program. To qualify, you must be a State Fair Community College student enrolled in the current semester and eligible for Financial Aid through the Federal Work-Study program.
The box office student assistant position is to serve as the critical, primary link between the SFCC Theatre Program (and the college as a whole) and its patrons, ensuring operational efficiency, and a positive customer experience.
