Job Description
As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams while maintaining strong communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy civil construction, including pipe, dirt, and bridge construction, and possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills to successfully drive projects from pre-construction through completion.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $125,000 – $150,000 annually, based on experienceDiscretionary year-end bonus based on individual and company performanceCompany-sponsored 401(k) with employer matchMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time Off (PTO) and company-paid holidaysCompany vehicle and/or vehicle allowance may be provided based on role requirements
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in commercial or heavy civil constructionExperience in pipe, dirt, and bridge constructionStrong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practicesExperience with subcontracting, pre-construction, and constructability reviewsExperience with masonry and demolitionStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BIM and other construction technology toolsAbility to manage multiple crews and subcontractors across active projectsExperience working on large-scale infrastructure or civil construction projects
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality controlEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standardsCoordinate and supervise subcontractors, field personnel, and suppliersServe as the main point of contact for project stakeholders including clients, contractors, and vendorsCollaborate with project management teams to identify and resolve issues during constructionMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reportingMonitor project schedules and proactively address delays or challengesConduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality

Strong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent communication and conflict-resolution skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesKnowledge of heavy civil construction operations and sequencingAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsStrong understanding of safety procedures and field operations
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods throughout the workdayFrequent use of hands for typing, writing, and operating office or field equipmentAbility to reach, bend, and move through active construction sitesOccasional lifting and carrying of materials up to 25 poundsGood vision and hearing for reading plans, operating equipment, and communicating effectivelyAbility to walk active jobsites and navigate uneven terrain safely
