Linen Room Attendant (Luxury 5-star Hotel)
Job DescriptionWe are partnering with a prestigious luxury hospitality group to recruit professional and service-oriented Linen Room Attendants to join a high-standard hotel operation.
This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering refined service, understand 5-star standards, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesOrganize and maintain the central linen room, ensuring all bed linens, towels, and napery are stacked according to 5-star presentation standards.
Conduct rigorous final inspections of all clean laundry; identify and reject any items with stains, tears, or fraying before they reach guest rooms.
Coordinate the daily issuance of linen "pars" to Housekeeping Floor Attendants, ensuring each floor has exactly what it needs for a smooth turnaround.
Manage the staff uniform inventory, including issuing clean sets, tracking returns, and coordinating with the tailor for necessary repairs or alterations.
Perform daily and monthly inventory counts; report shortages or high "discard" rates to the Housekeeping Manager to ensure constant supply.
Act as the liaison for guest laundry/valet services, ensuring personal garments are logged correctly, handled with care, and returned to the correct rooms.
Maintain a dust-free, sterile, and perfectly organized storage environment to prevent clean linens from being contaminated.
Work closely with the Laundry team to prioritize urgent items (e.g., table linens for a banquet) and support the Front Office with special guest requests.
Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Linen Room Attendant, Uniform Attendant, or in a similar inventory-based role within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.
Exceptional skills in inventory control and space management; ability to maintain a high-volume storage area with military-grade precision.
Strong understanding of different linen types, thread counts, and fabric quality to distinguish between guest-ready items and "discard" stock.
Fluent in English (spoken and written) to manage inventory logs, uniform tracking systems, and coordination with various hotel departments.
A "perfectionist's eye" for spotting minor defects, such as a missing button on a uniform or a faint watermark on a pillowcase.
Physically fit and able to lift linen bundles, push heavy laundry trolleys, and spend the majority of the shift standing or walking.
High level of accuracy in counting and record-keeping to prevent stock discrepancies and financial loss for the department.
Positive attitude with a strong service mindset and respect for guest privacy.
Professional appearance with a polished service attitude aligned with luxury standards.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills even under pressure.
Willingness to work shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
