Job Description

Agrecom Field Systems Technician

Protecting communities, food supply, and animal agriculture through biosecurity, sanitation, pest management, water treatment, and system maintenance.

Position Summary

The Agrecom Field Systems Technician performs pest management, sanitation, water treatment, system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, customer support, and regulatory compliance activities throughout agricultural, commercial, and residential environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services for agricultural, commercial, and residential customers.
  • Execute sanitation, disinfection, and disease mitigation applications.
  • Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot water treatment, filtration, dosing, monitoring, fogging, pump, and injection systems.
  • Perform water sampling, testing, and chemical residual analysis and communicate results to customers.
  • Safely transport and handle chemicals in compliance with HAZMAT and DOT requirements.
  • Maintain vehicles, equipment, service records, compliance documentation, and customer logs.
  • Respond to customer concerns and support changes in service scope, mapping, and reporting.
  • Follow all biosecurity, safety, and company procedures.
  • Support on-call, emergency, after-hours, and travel-related customer needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with strong driving record.
  • Ability to pass background, drug, and physical screening requirements.
  • Ability to obtain Pest Control Applicator licensing within 90 days.
  • Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification if required.
  • Willingness to travel throughout California, Colorado, Iowa, and other service areas.
  • Ability to lift, climb, crawl, wear respirators, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter able to manage changing priorities.
    • Preferred Experience & Education
  • Experience in pest management, sanitation, water treatment, or industrial service operations.
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, pumps, injection systems, filtration, or mechanical systems.
  • Technical, vocational, or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in pest control, HAZMAT, water treatment, safety, or maintenance are advantageous.
    • Compensation & Benefits

    Pay Range: $20.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
