- Lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for forecasting, scheduling, and workforce optimization solutions.
- Define technical direction and execution strategy for products that improve staffing efficiency, resource allocation, and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, machine learning engineers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver customer value.
- Drive architectural decisions, technical excellence, and long-term platform scalability while balancing speed and innovation.
- Champion engineering best practices, infrastructure modernization, technical debt reduction, and operational reliability.
- Partner directly with customers to understand real-world workforce management challenges and incorporate feedback into product development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance across the team.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies thoughtfully to improve engineering productivity and product outcomes.
- Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams in high-growth technology environments.
- Strong technical background with the ability to operate strategically while also diving deep into complex engineering challenges when needed.
- Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams, mentoring engineers, and attracting top talent.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to contribute to roadmap discussions, prioritize effectively, and align technical work with business objectives.
- Experience balancing technical investments, platform improvements, and rapid product delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.
- Solid understanding of modern software development practices, system architecture, and scalable product development.
- Strong interest in AI-enabled development workflows and the practical application of AI as a force multiplier for engineering teams.
- Experience in operations research, optimization, forecasting, simulation, applied mathematics, machine learning, or related quantitative fields is considered a strong asset.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $230,000 to $270,000 per year.
