Job Summary

We are looking for dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Cart Attendants / Store Maintenance Associates. This entry-level position plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment for customers and employees.

This is a great opportunity for high school students, first-time job seekers, and individuals looking to gain retail experience. No previous experience is required—we provide training.

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to designated cart areas and store entrances.
• Maintain an adequate supply of carts for customers throughout the day.
• Remove trash from indoor and outdoor waste receptacles.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms regularly.
• Respond quickly to spills and safety hazards to help prevent accidents.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of sales floors, entrances, sidewalks, and common areas.
• Assist with nightly cleaning of kitchen and food preparation areas, including equipment, surfaces, and floors.
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness by collecting litter and debris.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to management.
• Assist with additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school students are encouraged to apply.
• No experience required; training provided.
• Previous retail, janitorial, custodial, maintenance, or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to push multiple shopping carts safely.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions while retrieving carts.

Schedule Requirements

• Flexible availability preferred.
• Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts available.
• Part-time schedules available for students.
