This is a REMOTE position, as such you must be located in the United States and will be required to work Eastern or Central time zones

What we are looking for:

Amsive is currently looking for a Senior Email Production Specialist to join our Email Services team. Our ideal candidate is an email development and marketing automation subject matter expert with expertise in enterprise email service provider platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe, and Marketo. This role builds and deploys personalized email and SMS campaigns, sets up automation workflows and journeys, and partners with the Manager, Email Production to develop HTML emails daily, manage data pipelines, and maintain subscriber attributes within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other third-party email platforms, supporting both existing and new email campaigns and automated programs. Key skills include AMPscript proficiency, JavaScript, and strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, strategic thinking, organizational, and leadership skills, while actively contributing ideas to improve the email execution process.

What you will be doing:
  • Develop dynamic email templates and emails from scratch leveraging AMPscript.
  • Build and manage automated email marketing programs for our clients and ensure end-to-end tracking and proper measurement.
  • Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud and external email service providers to build, schedule, and launch daily campaigns.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate team members.
  • Collaborate with and mentor junior team members to effectively meet client goals and expectations.
  • Create and update product documentation.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on email campaign and web production operations — distribute, create, communicate, and apply best practices and learnings to continually improve results.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable work experience is strongly preferred.
  • 4–5 years of experience in dynamic email development and end-to-end campaign management.
  • Strong history of managing several projects at once.
  • Strong understanding, development, and troubleshooting skills for table-based HTML email; comfortable working directly in code (HTML, inline CSS, etc.); responsive HTML experience is required.
  • Email automation and knowledge of email best practices is required (marketing automation solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud are strongly preferred).
  • Mobile and email marketing experience required.
  • List management (list segmentation, suppression lists, etc.) and basic data management experience (pulling data, cross-referencing, importing, and maintaining subscriber attributes) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AMPscript, JavaScript, SQL, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Figma is required.
  • A proven track record of being detail-oriented with a desire to produce the best final product for clients and business stakeholders.
  • Tech- and web-savvy with the ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Highly creative problem solver and resourceful self-starter that isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done.
  • Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment within deadlines while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Impeccable quality assurance skills and highly organized.
  • Accountability for meeting deadlines while producing high-quality work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship building.
  • Comfortability working with clients and cross-functional partners to answer questions, research, and resolve issues with a varying degree of difficulty.
  • Ability to build effective relationships within the team and with cross-functional partners and/or vendors.
