About the role
Insight Xcite is seeking a Collection Management Officer to support mission-critical Intelligence Community operations in McLean, Virginia. In this role, you will develop, manage, and prioritize intelligence collection requirements supporting national security objectives.
Working closely with Intelligence Community partners, intelligence analysts, and operational personnel, you will identify intelligence gaps, develop collection strategies, coordinate collection activities, and evaluate collection effectiveness. The ideal candidate has experience managing intelligence collection requirements in a dynamic, mission-focused environment and is committed to delivering timely, actionable intelligence in support of customer priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, validate, prioritize, and manage intelligence collection requirements.
- Identify intelligence gaps and develop collection strategies that support customer mission objectives.
- Translate intelligence requirements into actionable collection plans.
- Coordinate intelligence collection activities across multiple Intelligence Community organizations.
- Monitor intelligence collection efforts and evaluate collection effectiveness.
- Recommend adjustments to collection priorities based on evolving mission requirements.
- Collaborate with intelligence analysts, operations officers, and mission stakeholders to satisfy intelligence requirements.
- Support intelligence operations through collection planning and requirements management.
- Produce intelligence reports, collection management documentation, and mission briefings.
- Participate in operational planning, mission coordination, and interagency collaboration.
- Ensure intelligence products comply with Intelligence Community tradecraft standards, classification guidance, and dissemination requirements.
- Maintain awareness of regional, country-specific, and transnational intelligence issues affecting mission priorities.
- Manage multiple intelligence collection requirements simultaneously in a dynamic operational environment.
- Provide recommendations that improve intelligence collection effectiveness and mission success.
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
- Six (6) or more years of Intelligence Community experience supporting intelligence collection, intelligence operations, or collection management.
- Experience developing and managing intelligence collection requirements.
- Experience identifying intelligence gaps and developing collection strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Intelligence Community collection processes and the intelligence lifecycle.
- Experience coordinating with Intelligence Community partners and operational stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing intelligence reports and briefing senior government personnel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a mission-focused environment.
- Previous experience as a Collection Management Officer.
- Experience supporting HUMINT or multi-source intelligence operations.
- Experience with Intelligence Community collection management systems and tools.
- Regional or functional expertise supporting customer mission requirements.
- Experience supporting interagency mission coordination.
- Familiarity with intelligence requirements management and collection prioritization processes.

The pay range for this role is:
150,000 - 200,000 USD per year(Government Client Site – McLean VA)
