Position Announcement Director of Business Development and Marketing Sinai Urban Health Institute (SUHI), an applied public health research center within Sinai Chicago, is dedicated to improving the health of Chicago’s urban communities and advancing health equity. SUHI’s approximately 60-person team includes social epidemiologists, research scientists, community health workers, evaluators, interventionists, and community engagement specialists. Together, they examine health inequities at a hyper-local level, partner with communities to interpret findings, co-develop effective interventions, evaluate impact, and scale what works.

Since 2017, SUHI has expanded its business strategy to make its expertise available to a broader range of clients while supporting long-term sustainability and mission impact. SUHI seeks a Director of Business Development and Marketing, a strategic and entrepreneurial leader who will report to SUHI’s President and partner closely with SUHI’s senior leadership team, as well as Sinai Chicago’s business, development, and public relations teams. The position will begin as a salary-based role focused on building strategy and capacity for growth. Over time, a performance-based component will be introduced to reward successful execution and alignment with strategic and mission-driven goals.
