Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and people-focused Human Resources Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources function. This is a hands-on role where the individual will be actively involved in carrying out and implementing HR processes, policies, and initiatives, rather than serving solely in an administrative or coordination capacity.
The Human Resources Associate will play an important role in ensuring HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and consistently. Responsibilities will include onboarding, employee documentation, benefits administration, compliance, employee communication, performance management support, and other HR initiatives as the needs of the organization evolve.
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable taking ownership of tasks, communicating with employees and leadership, and following projects through to completion. This person should enjoy being involved in the day-to-day execution of HR and be willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and implement day-to-day HR processes and procedures.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all required steps and documentation are completed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee questions.
- Track employee licenses, certifications, and other required documentation.
- Communicate directly with employees regarding routine HR questions and needs.
- Assist with employee relations, performance management, and related documentation.
- Help implement and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Support compliance efforts and ensure required HR processes are completed timely.
- Assist with payroll and HR software processes by maintaining accurate employee information and ensuring updates are completed timely.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and help put those improvements into practice.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and other HR programs.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and other projects as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
- Take ownership of assigned HR responsibilities and follow them through to completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, administration, or a related role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and payroll systems is preferred.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
