This is a high-impact opportunity to lead the launch and growth of a casino business in the Canadian market.
You will own commercial performance across revenue, retention, player value, and long-term growth.
The role combines market strategy, player engagement, localisation, partnerships, and hands-on operations.
You’ll shape the casino experience for Canadian players across game selection, promotions, UX, and player journeys.
Working cross-functionally with Product, CRM, Marketing, Compliance, and Data, you’ll turn insights into measurable results.
You’ll operate in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where ownership, experimentation, and analytical thinking are essential.
This role offers the opportunity to help establish and scale a casino proposition across Canada from an early stage.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for the casino offering across Canada, including Ontario and future regulated provinces.
- Own day-to-day commercial performance, with accountability for revenue, retention, player value, and sustainable growth.
- Localise the casino proposition for Canadian audiences, including game selection, promotions, UX, and player journeys.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators such as GGR, NGR, ARPU, retention, and player lifetime value to inform commercial decisions.
- Develop and optimise promotional, loyalty, and bonusing strategies designed around Canadian player behaviour and market dynamics.
- Build and manage relationships with game providers, aggregation platforms, and other external partners.
- Ensure casino operations comply with applicable Canadian gaming regulations, including requirements overseen by AGCO and iGaming Ontario.
- Partner closely with Product, CRM, Marketing, Compliance, and Data teams to improve player experience and accelerate market growth.
- Track competitor activity, regulatory changes, market trends, and emerging opportunities across the Canadian iGaming landscape.
- Take hands-on ownership of operational priorities while balancing commercial objectives, player experience, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in iGaming, online casino operations, or a closely related gaming environment, ideally within regulated markets.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian gaming landscape, particularly Ontario and the AGCO/iGaming Ontario regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive casino growth through commercial strategy, promotions, player engagement, and lifecycle initiatives.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with experience interpreting casino KPIs and player data to optimise performance and make informed decisions.
- Good understanding of casino platforms, game providers, aggregation solutions, bonusing tools, and player lifecycle management.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and operational ownership in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across commercial, product, marketing, compliance, and data functions.
- Strong understanding of localisation and the ability to adapt casino experiences to the needs and behaviours of a specific market.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable working with significant autonomy and accountability.
